In its full four-verse glory, 'Moonshiner' was ultimately deemed too lengthy for inclusion in 'The Birds' Flight' album. We culled the second verse to bring the track down to a length of around five minutes. But knowing there are aficionados out there who appreciate, and often prefer, unabridged versions of traditional songs, we thought we'd later offer the full version as well, releasing it after the official album release. So here it is, with verse 2 repatriated! (Alas, it's not the most chipper verse in the history of folk song.) **NB: this 'extended version' is not available on the physical CD**
